چکیده

Background Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) is useful for staging of patients with melanoma. Although SLNB mostly performed under general anesthesia (GA), tumescence local (TLA) can also be used. However, less data are available regarding feasibility TLA. Here we present a post-operative follow-up 150 patients. Patients and Methods We prospectively analyzed from primary cutaneous malignant assessed pain, complications patients’ satisfaction after Results 32 % the reported pain within first 48 h SLNB. Seroma was most frequent complication, as 29 seromas were observed. Wound infection observed in 3.3 98.7 satisfied Conclusions TLA safe feasible option should considered Especially multimorbid or elderly patients, risks GA avoided.
